Gamer has been removed Posted on 18 May 11 at 19:19 I've managed to get a hold of the Ultimate Collection Edition of Forza 3, so I now have the same game twice. I want to get rid of one, but I'm not sure which to keep, and I would like to know what is on the discs before I actually put the UC one in the Xbox and find out (because after that it will be considered 'Used'). My one: Standard Forza 3 with Download Codes for Motorsport Ledgends Car Pack, Sidewinder Proving Grounds Track Pack, and Benchmark High Speed Ring Tack Pack. Ultimate Collection: Forza 3. Unsure of how many discs. 'All Content Previously Released on Xbox LIVE' 'Xbox Live Top Gear Download Card'.
Posted on 18 May 11 at 22:01 The standard game comes with two discs. Disc 1 is the game you play from, disc 2 is tons of cars and three tracks. You only ever use this disc when you first download the game. You'll need this disc to complete the game but not to play it. So you don't have to download the contents of the second disc to play the game but its highly recommended. The standard game when bought new comes with one or two download codes. This comes with every copy of the game including the standard, limited edition and ultimate edition.
The only content you'll not be getting from the ultimate edition might be the LCE cars from the LCE edition of the game but since they aren't in the standard game and theres a chance they might be included in the ultimate, theres no reason not to choose the ultimate over the standard.

Car position markers, hell yeah I think they came to FM6 with the Nascar expansion October 3rd The old Bathurst Long weekend.
Nice:) Gee I hope just because they have Dynamic weather than it don't rain every race etc. In Project Cars career mode, the races were programmed to start dry, rain, and then clear up.
Unfortunately, every so often in my career races, I had minimum distance set, and it would start dry, rain, and then clear up in a 3 lap race. FM6 was a bit of a handful, cars understeer heaps and hugely unstable under heavy braking.
Also quite hard to catch oversteer. Was much easier with controller. Bang on, Ben. Agree 100% Not yet, but this is the Dubai course. This course looks awesome.
Swiss Alps in Dubai;D Really looking forward to this one. FH3 was/is awesome, but it's nothing like tearing around a real track. Time to start looking for a 4K TV. Description from EB Games listing Dangerously Beautiful.

Nah I think I confused videos, haven't watched the other one yet. I really hope you can use your wheels with out having to resort to stability control again. I still think the wheel issue was overblown though. Yes wheels were easier to use in Project Cars, but when we did all our weekly racing in the Whirlpool Club, the wheel users were winning races and competing just as good, if not better, than the pad users. I tried both. I would constantly destroy my tyres using the controller. Wheel users were able to conserve their rubber a lot more easily.
Outside of Never, the wheel users ruled the track. Confused, pretty sure team VVV guys are good at racing? He was awful They used to be good, not sure if they are that active these days. Plus picking up a new game probably with some stupid settings turned on isn't easy, it can take a while to dial a wheel setting that you like. Some games have unplayable force feedback where the wheel wants to break your wrists while driving in a straight line. I'm playing Dirt 4 ATm and find driving in a straight line is harder than taking corners, its just weird. Punishment for corner cutting and online crashfesting players who cheat or race unclean could face added time on to their final lap and race total Woohoo!
I'm screwed Changes to driver campaign new dynamic race weather systems. With Forza Motorsport 7, we’ve reimagined how players interact with their environment. Every time you return to the track, it’s going to look, sound, and feel different. Dynamic skies will churn as skies darken and prepare for storms. Tarmac temperatures will change which will in turn affect tire friction and your car’s handling.
Sounds pretty neat. Look for more car and track reveals ahead of the launch of the game. Can't wait to here what other circuits they are gonna announce. Some new info in regards to online lobbies. In previous Forza titles, the game would immediately throw you into the UI once you had jumped onto a server for an online race. Giese informs us that this has changed for FM7.
Instead, you’re now able to hot-lap the track as you wait to start the race – even if a race has already started. This is a welcome opportunity to quickly tweak your setup before you start your race. Furthermore, Giese told us that the ability to start non-racing rooms, in essence, ‘open track days’, is possible. Additionally, the Forzavista mode has migrated to the pre-race pit scene.
This means that you can explore around your car prior to heading out onto the track. This is a nice feature to see, as it gives that much more immersion to your career within the game. Apparently S – Standard Edition D – Deluxe Edition U – Ultimate Edition Full Game - S, D, U Forza Motorsport 7 'The Fate of the Furious' Car Pack – D, U Forza Motorsport 7 VIP Pass – D,U Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 3 Digital only bonus content – D, U Forza Motorsport 7 Car Pass – U Early Access from September 29th – U So which edition of the game has everyone been/going to buy? I bought the ultimate edition of FH3 and was a little underwhelmed. To clarify I love FH3 I just don't think the extras are worth the money over the standard edition. As in car packs? Those are expansions?
“all-new guided Porsche Anthology campaign experience” featuring 48 new events, 20 Porsches, new Porsche-themed multiplayer events, Mods, and Badges, plus 250 Gamerscore worth of new achievements and the inclusion of a new track: Virginia International Raceway, with seven distinct configurations, all with night and wet versions. The Nascar expansion was the same. New cars, new guided Nascar campaign etc etc and a new circuit. They were both very time consuming. I still haven't completed either of them. What you need to realize Moofious, is that Motorsport is nothing like Horizon. It is a pure and simple circuit racer.
More of an e-sport. I would only suggest you buy it if you have enjoyed other Motorsport titles or games like Project Gotham Racing, or Gran Turismo when it was good in the early days. I would just buy the standard edition as cheap as you can find it. The other editions are a total rip off unless you really must have every car. This is what I do.
I paid $50 for digital copy of FM6 not too long after release. Maybe a couple of months. I then waited for sales on the expansions and got both for 75% off each. So around $7.50 each rather than $30 each. Got Horizon 3 for US $20 digital at launch with that US Target error? Then got Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels expansions at 50% off in a recent sale. I, like many others, have a large pile of shame so don't mind waiting for the deals to come up.
What you need to realize Moofious, is that Motorsport is nothing like Horizon. It is a pure and simple circuit racer. More of an e-sport. I would only suggest you buy it if you have enjoyed other Motorsport titles or games like Project Gotham Racing, or Gran Turismo when it was good in the early days Yeah I realise that. I did play original GT a lot!
And also Forza Motorsport 1, but I think it was just called Forza back then? I do enjoy Forza Horizon 3 a lot more but I think that is also because FH3 is a lot better and more put into it if that makes sense. If FM7 is as big and diverse as FH3 then I am sure I will like it but will have reasons to come back to FH3 I am sure. Now that I have started playing manual with no rewind, simulation damage and braking line only I am becoming a more careful and better driver!
Not much faster yet though, but it is more fun and I think that I will enjoy FM7 more than I would have due to that. I think that the ultimate edition is probably worth $40 more than standard RRP, but if you can get it for a fair bit cheaper and additional content on sale that is a better way to go. I will probably just drop $140 on it though. For the first time in the Forza Motorsport series, we’re bringing wide-body kits to a number of cars in Forza 7. I guess it's because he's possibly waiting to experience on the Xbox One X first or it will be his first Xbox console. Possibly, a little vague though and that's why I asked. I am pre ordering ultimate edition, if I was going to get standard and wanted xbox one x (if I had a 4k TV) I'd wait and see if it came bundled with xbox one x. Or if it's been playing forza games for the play few years, I only just got back into driving games (FH3) about 5 months ago and am preferring them now mostly now over games. Mind you I still have a lot of FH3 to do (done show case and am about level 325).
I think I'll prefer the races in FM7 over FH3, but I do like and enjoy the open world style of FH3 for normal game play more, over all I think. Features for Forza Motorsport 7; Xbox Wire: Official FM7 Fact Sheet (pdf) Developer: Turn 10 Studios Publisher: Microsoft Age Rating: ESRB-E, USK-6, PEGI-3+ Platforms: Xbox One / S / X stems and Windows 10 PC (Not available on Xbox 360) Xbox One X: releases November 7. Current owners can switch for no extra cost. The demo will also include the new Dubai circuit and one of the most famous driving roads in the world, the Jebel Hafeet Pass. I've never heard of the Jebel Hafeet Pass before.
So I Binged it and this came up first; The Jabal Hafeet Mountain Road is one of the greatest driving roads in the world. Located on the outskirts of Al Ain, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the road extends for 7.3 mi (11.7 km) up the mountain, rising at an elevation of 4,000 ft (1,219 m) above the sea level. Thanks to the two lanes going up the mountain, you can take the 60 bends as fast or slow as you like, enjoying views of the desert. Sounds like we have a new hill-climb road like we did in Forza 4. The Japanese Mt Fuji climb.
That got lots of love in the Whirlpool racing league on casual nights. I'll leave this here.
For those too scared to click that link; The Harvey Norman Forza Challenge is all about unearthing Australia's best driver on a virtual Mount Panorama. Players will clock their best time with the eight fastest qualifiers winning a trip to the real life mountain to see this year's Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Fans keen on getting their game on can check out a challenge that's being created in Forza Motorsport 6 utilising the Rival component. But the final series will be contested on Forza Motorsport 7 which will be released on October 3, just a week before the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Sounds awesome and a little bit odd, too.
You put in all your practice on the Forza 6 version and then switch to Forza 7 for the finals? Gee, you want to hope it runs well on release, with similar handling and with no server issues.
They should really do the whole thing on F6. VIP 'bonuses' confirmed, at least they are stating exclusive cars this time, even if they are just FE cars and nothing new. Exclusive cars, Mods, and Driver Gear await with Forza Motorsport 7 VIP membership! Forza Motorsport 7 VIP members receive 5 exclusive Forza Edition cars, granting players unique in-game perks! VIPs receive additional benefits including CR bonus mods and 5 exclusive sets of VIP Driver Gear.

Get your VIP membership today! Continues the rather scant new content but we'll look supremely fancy in the exclusive driver gear. Hopefully it has sequins so we'll shine in the after race interviews. – Some info about game size. Ever since we announced Forza 7, we’ve called this our biggest game, and the numbers bear it out: more than 700 cars at launch, 32 of the world’s greatest tracks (our largest lineup ever), a massive career in the Forza Driver’s Cup, and of course a huge list of ever-changing multiplayer and competitive modes that will keep players busy no matter their skill level or driving preferences. This is the largest game we’ve ever released in terms of sheer footprint size as well.
The Xbox One game will be approximately 95 GB at launch. Just about 45 GB of that contained on the Blu-ray disc. The remainder will be available to download for free on September 29. Naturally, the game can be played from the disc alone. However, if you want to experience the true depth and breadth of content in Forza Motorsport 7, you’ll want to take the additional update.
A great example is the Forza Driver’s Cup single-player campaign. While all players can complete the first play-through of the Forza Driver’s Cup on disc, beating the series unlocks a wealth of new Forza Driver’s Cup content, including new competitive and Showcase events, as well as new trophies and Driver Gear rewards. In order to access those new events and rewards, you’ll need to have the additional update installed.
Forza Motorsport 7 will receive another large update on November 7, alongside the release of the Xbox One X. This large update will contain the assets that enable Forza Motorsport 7 to showcase the power of the Xbox One X at native 4K and solid 60 FPS with ultra-high resolution content and will be a free update for those who play Forza 7 on Xbox One X. So 95GB is before 4K assets have even been downloaded: Looks like i'll be upgrading to a 4TB external in the very near future.
But then you realise its gonna be there on release date, no wondering when its gonna turn up in the mail etc. You get the car pass and a few other things thrown in too. EB seems to have a model of the Porsche GT2RS whilst JB has a crappy hat lol. I think the only thing going for digital is that the fact you get xbox and pc playability on disc its only xbox but then you get a lot of swag for the money. If you want the Burago GT3RS then EB is your only source as i believe its an exclusive otherwise you can always buy from Jb and get the 2nd place losers hat!
I played through the demo before driving to work. Here are my thoughts; I used a controller and drove with all assists off, except ABS. The handling felt great.
The Porsche is a uninteresting car to drive, but the Nissan was ace. View modes are improved.
We now have two cockpit views. One with the wheel and driver hands, and my new favourite, the driverless view that puts you closer to the windshield. I'll be using this whenever I can, baring a terrible cockpit, then it's bonnet view. The dreaded loading screen of boredom is gone!
While the circuit loads up, you can access all the driving assists menus and the driver gears menus and make changes while it loads in the background. You can change driver assists on the fly during a race. The dynamic weather is going to be fun. Gone are the baked in 3D puddles of Forza 6. This time puddles form and dissipate. I liked the dynamic camera shake with the Nissan and the Truck on the Nurberg GP and Mugello circuits, but not so much on the Dubai circuit.
Forza Motorsport 3 Disc 2
The Dubai circuit is very jarring. Mugello was great, but wasted with Truck racing. Trucks don't belong on the race track IMO. Might be good for a few laughs, but not for serious racing. HDR is enabled already. My TV switched to HDR mode without any prompting, and it looked terrific.
The skyboxes of FH3 make an appearance and everything looks nice and runs super smooth. Looking forward to playing this on the Xbox One X. Just over one week to go until early access. Can't wait to get some Aussie muscle cars tuned up. I heard the 50Gb on the disc is playable, but in the way that it has no content so not worth the time The Xbox One game will be approximately 95 GB at launch.

Hi, I would like to request a refund for my pre-order 161839.1. The reason for this request is i thought i would recieve instant delivery. I know i wouldnt be able to access the game before release date but entering the cd key for FM7 enables the hoonigan car pack in FH3 and downloads the game to the console prior to realese.
I hope you can help with my request. Kind Regards I recieved an email from cd keys 10 minutes later approving the refund and a PayPal confirmation. The reason for requesting the refund from CD Keys was to take advantage of the cheaper Russian deal. Yeah I figured. Ultimate edition or not. The game releases 3rd October. Ultimate get early access.
That is how it's is said I am pretty sure. So playing any way before 3rd October is 'preorder'.
I would think I'd got you got ultimate on 2nd you should still get hoonigan. I got the same as you from cd keys and I hope I would still get it and they don't say ultimate is released on 29th.bad luck! Edit: maybe I should do this same, plus pre loading would be good. Does anyone suffer from instant crashing on the 'Press Enter' screen on the PC demo? Reddit seems to think it's due to conflicts with Afterburner or similar GPU tweaking software – but I'm not running any of those.
Just a stock standard Ryzen 5 1600 + RX 580, running the absolute latest AMD drivers. Get this out of Event Viewer but can't see any faulting modules apart from itself?
